The Challenges of Running a POD Store: When Suppliers Change, We Pivot

Running a print-on-demand store like Nifty Ducks Co. is a rewarding journey, but it has its challenges. One of the biggest? Relying on multiple suppliers to bring our unique, one-of-a-kind designs to life. While we love the flexibility and sustainability of this model, it also means adapting to changes when suppliers update their products. And when that happens, we pivot—and pivot I will!

Recently, one of our trusted suppliers made some positive changes to the tote bags we offer, including adding more handle color options. However, this also meant discontinuing the tote bags I had been using for the last two years. Recreating all of our past designs on the new products would take significant time, so I’ve decided to bring back only select designs, which I’ll be working on throughout this coming week.

But don’t worry—if there’s a design you love that’s not in the new lineup, simply contact me, and I’ll happily recreate it for you!
